Last night, Apple rolled out the5eBeta versionof the next update of iOS 15.5. This is not a classic beta version, in the sense that the latter is a so-called RC iteration, for Release Candidate. This is therefore the last version of the beta test phase for iOS 15.5. So this beta RC should be similar to the final version.
New beta RCs have also been sent for iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, HomePodOS 15.5 and tvOS 15.5. For now, however, only users enrolled in the Developer Beta Program can try these updates. The public beta RCs should be released in a few hours.
As we previously, iOS 15.5 should bring some significant new features, such as the functionalitySensitive places, for Photos, which wants to prevent photos and videos taken in certain places from being displayed in Memories, but also the Universal Control function, allowing you to link a Mac and an iOS/iPadOS machine with file transfer function and keyboard support /mouse.
Like the previous beta, this RC beta appears to be focused on bug fixes and security and performance improvements. But if you spot a change worth considering, don't hesitate to let us know in the comments section.
