Test of the “Music Angel Friendz” iPhone and smartphone speaker

iPhones, iPads and
other smartphones are real music players allowing you to listen to your music
everywhere. If this listening is practical with headphones, it remainsvery
individualand these are not the miniaturized speakers
integrated which are sufficient toshare music between
amis.

Offers of portable speakers integrating a battery have therefore become
developed in recent years. Some even include a link
Bluetooth, they are of quality, but often quite expensive. In parallel,
in a much more accessible price range butwithout connection
Bluetooth, we had the opportunity to test a speaker from
Norway where it met with great success. This is the "Music
Angel Friendz", aaluminum enclosure available in several
colorsadvertised as being able to deliver no less than120
hours of musicwith its integrated amp and battery.

Onward for the discovery, photos and our opinion:

The design of the packaging clearly shows the speaker, in a version
aluminum looks great in our case. First surprise, the size, once
unpacked, it appears very compact, much more compact than what leaves
think about the photos!

It is supplied with two cables, one allowing you to connect the speaker to
any audio output with a 3.5mm female jack, while
than the other, longer allows the same thing but is also used to recharge the
internal battery.

A pouch completes the set, practical for transporting the speaker
and cables.

The announced performances and specs are as follows:

It couldn't be simpler to use, just connect it to a
iPhone or any other device with a 3.5 mm jack output, the jack is
plug into the micro USB port of the speaker, then turn it on with the button
foreseen. It then lights up from below with a beautiful light
blue.

And then we send the music. Sound adjustment is done only on
iPhone, as well as skipping to the next/previous song (at
difference from some Bluetooth speakers that can interact with the iPhone
for volume and forward/backward).

The speaker delivers clear and powerful sound (at full blast, we won't be left
hours next to it) with its two side speakers. The presence of two
opposing speakers allows music to be distributed in a more distributed manner
than speakers with only one. We appreciate the presence under
the enclosure of an elastic transparent pad, it allows both the enclosure
to be well placed, not to slip but also to avoid vibrations
when the heat is turned up high. It is also this piece that distributes the light
all around the speaker, pretty in the dark.

We tried to overcome the autonomy to perfect the test, but
impossible, knowing that the manufacturer announces up to 120 hours of autonomy
(not completely of course). But suffice to say that this one is really good and
This is very appreciable!
As for recharging, it is done as simply as in
plugging the supplied (longer) cable into a computer USB port or
the iPhone transformer for example.

When recharging, the speaker no longer lights up in blue, but in red
flashing, when finished, red becomes permanent.

Last points that we were not able to test, the speakers can be
connected together to increase the power distributed.

What disadvantages can we note? Very little! We will note everything
even the absence of information on the battery level can be annoying, we
would like to be sure not to run out of battery, another drawback
…The thread! The speaker is so compact and pleasant to use
that we start dreaming of the same version but without a cord attached.

Conclusion

Here is a speaker with a particularly successful design, available in
many colors and particularly compact. Associated with autonomy
impressive and powerful sound that makes it the perfect evening companion
improvised as much as simple showers to music. Mobile, powerful and
autonomous while remaining inexpensive (prices vary depending on the color) we
makes you dream of the same questionable wireless version in Bluetooth.
