Today we begin a historic week for Apple, it is preparing to launch its very first mixed reality headset in the United States this Friday, February 2. THEVision Pro pre-ordersare, as a reminder, open since January 19 andthe first 200,000 helmets sold like hot cakes.
After long days of waiting, the first users will finally see the color of the 3,499 dollars they paid to acquire it. Let us remember, however, that those who trusted Apple from the start by pre-ordering it were able to benefit from a 25% reduction,a gain of more than 1000 dollars.
Anyway, a few days before the launch, the Apple firm has just published on its channelYouTubea new video called “Hello Apple Vision Pro” to promote its new device.
A secret announcement?
The video features several happy owners of the headset using it on a daily basis. At the beginning we see a dad working with the Vision Pro in his kitchen, and who at the same time is preparing a sandwich for his daughter. The montage continues with a young man who sits down on his sofa, headphones on and popcorn in hand, ready to start watching Napoleon.
A little nod from the firm to itsApple TV+ exclusive, which also adds the mention« Napoléon is available on the Apple TV app », at the bottom of the video, which means for non-English speakers thatThe film is available on the Apple TV application. However, by goingon the platform, it is indicated that Napoléon will be “available soon”. It could therefore be thatthe film is revealed in the Apple TV+ catalog this Friday, on the same date as the release of the Apple Vision Pro.
The “Hello Apple Vision Pro” video then shows a woman packing her suitcase in her room, while chatting with a loved one using the “spatial” FaceTime call functionality of the Vision Pro. The sequence is followed by another where we see a man viewing what appears to be the city of Los Angeles in panoramic mode.
