iOS 18.2: Apple deploys a second RC beta with important contributions for Apple Intelligence

Apple has just released a second RC beta for iOS 18.2. Find below the list of important changes brought by this new update of iOS 18, as well as its deployment schedule. Note that a new beta is also available for iPadOS 18.2, visionOS 2.2, watchOS 11.2 and macOS Sequoia 15.2.

Default apps:anew sectionsettings allows you to choose the default application to use for emails, messages, calls, call screening, web browsing, passwords and keyboard. This menu is called “Default Apps” in English

ChatGPT x Siri :without any OpenAI account, Siri can nowask ChatGPT for help. You can configure an option in the settings giving Apple's voice assistant the right to call ChatGPT without having to give your permission each time
ChatGPT Plus :you can subscribe to ChatGPT+directly from iOS settings
Visual Intelligence :the camera control button on the new iPhone 16 also supports Visual Intelligence. This AI allows you to identify an object seen through the iPhone camera and obtain additional information about it
