Data imports, new category: the Health app should be corrected with iOS 8.1

Certainly,
Aftera false start
at the launch of iOS 8
, the appshealth and guidelines
Heathkit
are still recovering.

We saw it together in
comments on this article
when updating the Health app
Mate from Withings, but the subject is alsodiscussed here on our
forum
. For good reason, importing data to Heathkit produced
astonishing results, multiplying the steps for some (and not the bread!)
as if you had suddenly become a real everyday athlete.

We suspected that the problem was linked to iOS since other apps
(MyFitness for example) seem to cause the same problems. Today, a
update from Heath Mate has just confirmed thatthese problems
should be fixed with iOS 8.1
. But it's not the only one
worry :

Beyond the setbacks with data import, it seems thatau
least one category of traces is missing from the health app
, Yet
it is provided by certain applications.

This is the category "Training" (or "Workout" in
English) in which theRuntastic app updated recently
should have shown our regular efforts to
sweat
! But nothing, the section is not present. We have
contacted Runtastic who confirmed that it should appearwhen
the Health app will be updated
.

This has since also been mentioned in the app sheet
Runtastic :

Unless there are any surprises and an iOS 8.0.3 version, the next step should therefore be
iOS 8.1, dont
the first Beta is already out
and that we could see happen few
time after
next Thursday's conference

We will therefore be patient and hope that these hiccups
start will soon be just a nasty cold quickly forgotten and not an illness
chronic.
