iPhone 8 rumor: diagram and rendering of a full-screen machine

Last week, several
industrial sketches and drawingsrelating to thenext
iPhone model
have surfaced.

We could see them in pictures incet

.

Very recently, another version still in plan form comes
draw the contours of a “full screen” iPhone 8. It is further supplemented
of arenderedwhich allows you to better understand the design of a
such machine:

In terms of dimensions, this version appeared viaa regular at this
type of leaks on the social network twitter
and considered rather
reliable, is even smaller than the version seen previously.

The dimensions of 137.54 mm in height by 67.54 mm in width are shown here
very close to those of the iPhone 7 (138.3 x 67.1 mm).

The screen occupies the entire front, and measures 5.8 inches diagonally
approximately, a value mentioned many times. It is surrounded by a total border
4 mm on all four sides, with a rounded glass and metal case
which represent about half of it.

The diagram indicates the presence of traditional speakers and sensors
on the upper part, to which would be added here asensor
"3D"
mentioned in particular for facial recognition and perhaps for
of augmented reality. The diagram does not indicate how they are integrated,
below the screen or in a specific area without display. The rendering he chose
to make them invisible under the screen…

The "Home" button and the TouchId sensor do not appear in this drawing, they
can either be under the screen or integrated into the back of the machine. A
configuration which could depend on technical constraints particularly during
of production in quantity, according to
what was still whispered a short time ago
.

Schemes that are still questionable and which remain rumors at this stage, but
andsuch a large screen iPhone in an iPhone 7 format would represent a
real progress at Apple
, which until now has not shone through the
screen surface/machine surface ratio. This while the competition
progress in this area, particularly since this year.
