L’iPhone 8saw its characteristics
be clarified recently following numerous rumors: technology
OLED, edge-to-edge screen, virtual Home button in particular. But Touch ID, either
this fingerprint sensor, could have difficulty finding its place on
this model. Its passage under the screen would pose manufacturing problems
mentioned here, involving delivery delays. With this in mind,
different solutions can be considered, one of which is
l’integration on the back of the machine.
And while this is a position already used by some manufacturers,
including Google for the Pixel,
seen in detail here, we wanted to measure the potential impact of such
change. This is the subject of our new survey.
The sensor on the back of the smartphone could actually be considered by the
