Bluetooth speakers
are generally rounded and compact, or more voluminous and rectangular.
Today it is an original version proposed by Aukey that we are going to
discover together. Equipped with 2 5 W speakers, with a rather
"sound bar" as a classic BT speaker, it has the particularity of
be able to serve as a supportfor the iPhone or iPad.
First contact, unboxing! No frills, a hit
perfectly adjusted and inside a small guide booklet, the speaker all in
length and two cables.
The speaker proudly displays its sound part with a long pierced strip
of holes, while a central button and a display are provided.
We take the opportunity to remove the film that protected the button:
At the back, there is a start and stop button.
accompanied by charging sockets and audio input.
But we especially note the presence of a good-sized foot, it can be stored
and unfolds as desired. It will be useful when the speaker accommodates an iPad
in the upper groove.
The unfolded foot:
The first cable is used for recharging the battery.
The second allows you to connect it without using Bluetooth via a socket
jack :
Below, two foam feet prevent the speaker from
slides or moves:
The speaker is wireless, it pairs without problem with the iPhone or
the iPad and can then be controlled from the machine without any problem with
classic functions. : volume, forward, backward or pause.
The sound is very present and the speaker is quite powerful. However,
no miracle, with this size of speakers, once pushed, the sound
is no longer really high fidelity. But that's not necessarily the goal
sought after, especially at this price.
The autonomy seems very good, it was not possible to get over it
after several hours of use!
We appreciate the possibility of being able to place your machine directly on
the enclosure, in the groove provided. An iPhone Plus goes without problem and is
found very well maintained.
A passage so that the finger can activate the start button is
also from the part:
But that's not all, since the cradle can also accommodate a
iPad.
Some photos in use:
And to realize the size of the groove, which allows you to insert a
iPhone with case as long as it is thin.
- with an iPhone:
- In profile, iPad Air 2 in place:
And the available space:
For the heaviest machines or used in portrait format, it is
essential to unfold the foot backwards. It is he who ensures
sufficient stability:
The speaker has displays below the central button, usable
to pause, or take a call in hands-free mode:
Light indicators signal charging, pairing and input
“Auxiliary”
The speaker also worked with the 3.5mm jack input cable provided,
including with an iPhone 7 Plus and the audio/lightning adapter provided by
Apple
Ultimately, the speaker offers an elegant and practical solution for
use with a smartphone but also a tablet. Perfect companion
office for this support aspect, it is not resistant to projections and does not
will not allow you to benefit from high fidelity, but it ensures perfectly
background music or use as a wireless speaker for a call.
All with excellent value for money.
