SO
that iPhones and iPads are generally rather robust, the charging cables
delivered with it have the unfortunate habit of getting damaged after a few months or years
of use. And when it comes to repurchasing them, Apple reduces it by 25 euros…
Rather expensive for a quality now exceeded by manufacturers
of accessories. There are indeed many models labeled by Apple
as being "Made for iPhone", which ensures their durability in the face of updates
update of iOS (they integrate a chip specifically authorized by
Apple).
In this context, we had already been able to test several Syncwire products
but these have now been replaced. Here is the new model proposed
by the brand, a cable with an evocative name: “Unbreakcable”, a play on words
between cable and unbreakable. It also has the particularity of being
delivered with a case allowing it to be stored rolled up.

Here it is in photos, with its storage accessory and our
impressions :
Delivered in very compact packaging, opening the box reveals a
strange flattened pebble. Made of very thin plastic, it is in fact a winder
allowing the coiled cable to be stored, protected from knots:
The cable is easily extracted and once unrolled can come out of its
storage:
The cable is 1m long, like Apple's:
Completely white and made in one piece, on one side we find the
USB-A socket allows it to be connected to a computer or USB charger while
that on the other side it is the Lightning socket characteristic of the connections
iOS which is present.
In terms of size, the proposed lightning socket is slightly larger
than that of the Apple cable (in the foreground in the photo below) but it
passed through all the hulls that we had to test at the
writing:
Here with Rhinoshield shell for example:
or
Turata case for iPhone 7 plus tested here:
As for resistance, only time can confirm the
durability, but taking the name literally, we still tried to use it
like a rope to suspend weight (a log in this case), it does not have
flinched:
The storage box turns out to be rather practical in use for those who
travel with their cable and who like us do not like knots in the
bag ! On the other hand, it is a rather light and thin "accessory" in terms of
manufacturing, not sure that it resists regular shocks.
In the end we have a cable which seems resistant, has not shown any problem
particular both for synchronizing the iPhone with a computer and
when recharging. Certified by Apple, it also has the advantage of being
four times cheaperthan the original apple version,
while thestorage box is a handy little bonus to
the use.
Add a promo code allowing you to have 20% off (i.e. a price
final at the time of writing this article of 6.19 euros) and we have a
solution perfectly suited to the needs of iPhone or iPad owners,
at home or while traveling.
