You are used to finding on iPhon.frtesting of apps, games, and also accessoriesfor iPhone, iPad or even for Apple Watch. We countmore than 330 now, to readin this section.

However, new accessories for iOS devices come out every week. It is then impossible for us to test everything. Fortunately, sometimes readers have the time, the desire and the good idea tosend us impressions of an accessorythat they bought. This is the case ofAlain(@FI0yd), who reacted viaand twitter @iPhonFRto ournewly updated folder on iPhone compatible controllers. He told us all the good things he thought about a controller for iPhone and iPad, the PXN-6603recently presented in our columns.

So let's go for his feedback and opinions on the PXN controller, compared to that of the XBox in particular, with some bonus photos:

The PXN controller was tested with an 11-inch iPad Pro, mainly on gamesTesla degree, available here on the App Store, etBastion, available there. We also testedthe first recently and it is true that as with Bastion, the use of a gamepad type controller is greatly appreciated.

As for the PXN-6603 controller, it appears very similar to an Xbox One controller, which is already quite positive. The layout of the buttons is almost identical, as shown in this photo comparing the Xbox controller on the left and the PXN iOS on the right (shiny):

We are also close to aanother handle tested in our columns, the Mad Catz CTRLi, availableTo be. or the classicSteelseries Nimbus.

The PXN model for iPhone and iPad is inplastic, smooth at the front and rubberized at the back. This rubber helps keep the controller in good grip and prevents slipping due to sweat, especially after long hours of gaming.

The directional sticks are firm (more so than the Xbox sticks, but the Xbox controller is 4 years old so maybe that's why), as are the RT and LT triggers. On the other hand, the LB and RB buttons are quite soft.

Finally, (as on the CTRLi controller), some players may regret the absence of buttons on the joysticks.

But overall, the controllerlargely fulfills its roleby offering avery good ergonomics, modeled on other models of controllers that already exist and have already proven themselves.

Alain is satisfied with his PXN-6603 controller, which allows him to greatly gain in movement precision in compatible games. The only downside is the configuration of the keys, to be seen for each game: our tester indicates that he has not yet used thededicated appLaboratoryfor possible configurations.

Finally, even if it is not tested here (game on iPad), remember that this rechargeable gamepad also has a clip to attach an iPhone:

Using this type of controller allows you to rediscover games with very different sensations. Don't miss out on thisour selection of the best iPhone iPad games compatible with MFi controller.
