iPhone renewal survey result: nearly 2 out of 3 users ready to change this year

Less than 2 months before the keynote
of September which should see Apple announce its new iPhones, including the iPhone
8 long awaited and symbolizing the 10 years of the device, and like every
period preceding the launch of new devices, iPhone sales are
in the trough during this summer. The iPhone 8 is expected to arrive with
new technologies. Logical therefore, that it arouses a certain interest and a
desire to purchase on the part of consumers.

In parallel,
some analysts anticipate a “supercycle”for Apple and iPhone, with
a high renewal rate. Some buyers preferred to spend on
models 7 and 6s. This was precisely the object ofour last
survey, which aimed to estimate the potential market for future iPhones by

To the question "When do you plan to change your current machine?",
four answers were proposed: "As soon as the new iPhones are released
2017", "At the end of the year", "Next year", or "In 2 years or more".

Of the more than 3,400 responses counted during the writing of this

planned to move toa new machine by the end of this
year. For some, it will be a new model, for others, a

plan to wait even longer, until at least 2019.

Comments and analyzes
