The iPhone XR, beyond itshigh-end technical specs, has the particularity of offering awide range of colors. To avoid hiding its design while protecting it from shocks and other hardships of life, the solution involvesa transparent shell.
Apple therefore offersfor the first time its own version, sold for no less than 45 euros. Suffice to say that manycheaper deals are available, this since the day the iPhone XR was released. We were able to seein our selection of iPhone XR cases and protections.
Having recently tested one of the cheapest models available on Amazon.fr andphotos with hundreds of likesonour Instagram account @iPhon.fr, (remember to follow it, one publication per day at least!), we decided to offer them to you with our comments:
- Ubegood transparent iPhone XR case at €6.99
- The hullfor the iPhone XS at the same price is available here
Here is an express test, photos and an opinion:

The case arrives in a cardboard packaging, well protected, it should not deform during transport.
Photos of the hull on Instagram:
It is flexible and inserting the iPhone is done without any difficulty. Once in place, the fit is perfect.
The grip is very good, the case does not slip.
The cutouts are perfectly positioned.
On the back, very small dots are visible through transparency, perhaps to avoid a rainbow appearance that we can see on certain cases (including Apple's)
We note that the hull hardly protrudes on the front side. This is an important point, particularly on the lower part, so as not to hinder the performance of the gestures necessary for using iOS.
The cutout for connecting a lightning cable is relatively small, it accepts standard iPhone cable or normal-sized third-party cables without problem, but not necessarily the largest.
Pressing the buttons is done without any difficulty, on the contrary, it is even easier than without the shell.
Finger marks are of course visible, but a wipe will quickly remove them.
In the end, a very positive feeling about this flexible protection. It fits the iPhone XR like a glove, does not hinder its use while leaving the design and color chosen for the smartphone clearly visible. You should know that the disadvantage of silicone iPhone cases is their appearance which often yellows over time. Impossible to say for the moment with this model, but this will undoubtedly also be the case.
At this price, it is an economical, elegant and comfortable solution.
