THEAirPodsare undoubtedly one of Apple's most attractive recently launched products. In general, oncetested, they accompany the wearer all day long.
The case, well thought out and compact, serves as a recharger and is practical and protective. But if at the bottom of a pocket everything is fine, in a backpack or handbag, it is immediately less easy to locate quickly. This is why protection and hanging solutions have multiplied since their release.
We were able to see somemany models in this file. At accessories specialist Twelve South, it’s aelegant leather case which is offered, theAirSnap.

With its easy-to-use buckle and its all-leather material, it facilitates transport and ensures the protection of the precious AirPods. We carried it around for several weeks, here are photos (many) and the opinion of iPhon.fr:
The AirSnap is available in three colors, brown, black and blue.
The one tested here is brown, it arrives well protected and displays a premium appearance at first glance. The leather is thick, the seams are perfectly adjusted.
A foam prevents them from crushing. :
The AirPods case fits inside without any problem, everything isperfectly fitted:
Closing is done with a press button.
The rear:
On the lower part, a space is carefully cut out, it allows you to slide in the cable for recharging. Never again need to take the case out of its protection.
On the top, a metal loop is provided, it allows the whole thing to be easily hung on a strap in the backpack (or handbag).
In use, opening via the upper part is easy, with a little practice it even becomes possible to open the case at the same time as the leather part. This makes access to AirPods direct.
We appreciate the adjustment to the mm, everything is perfectly homogeneous.
We might just have a regret when we close the whole thing. Even if the press button does its job very wellmagnetic closure would undoubtedly have been very effective, more modernand reduces the need to press quite hard.
The AirSnap case was mainly used to store AirPods in the pocket of a backpack, hanging on, which avoids having to constantly search for them at the bottom. For those who prefer to keep AirPods in their pocket, this is not necessarily the recommended solution, because it adds a lot of weight.
After several weeks, the AirSnap did not exhibitno alterations to the material, stitching or spring buckle. The paint on the metal parts seems thick and made to last while the leather has not moved. It will undoubtedly take on a patina over time, this is part of the charm of a solution of this type compared to silicone seen on other protections. But after several weeks, no change in appearance to note.
In the end, we have with this leather case, aelegant, premium, functional protectionand pleasant to the eye as well as to the touch. Its price makes it a pleasure accessory as well as a gift that will certainly make people happy. The protection is effective, as is the grip, although it can sometimes be a little small depending on where you want to attach it
